Everyone dreams for a ripped and muscular body as it's one of the best things you can get. Today we'll take a look at some golden rules for getting ripped.
1. Swap fruits out for vegetables
Fruits are full of sugars / carbs. Although they help protect the body with the several nutrients and antioxidants in them, more sugar is never useful when body building.
To keep the nutrients and antioxidants intake whilst getting low carbs, you better swap out fruits from your diet for vegetables.
2. Eat more fats
Eat more fats! Yeah that's right, you need fats to create and balance out hormones in our body. Moreover, with lower carb intake, more fats in our diet will help curb cravings.
People are of the impression that fats make you fat, and hence the name. Actually, too much fat makes you fat. Go beyond a certain limit and you tend towards obeseness but discarding them at the dinner table won't help either.
3. Don't completely let go of carbs
You don't need much carbs, but don't plan to remove them from your diet. Lack of carbs helps you lose weight fast, but it makes you feel weak and tired all day long.
Make sure to get enough carbs in the morning ad after the workout to meet your body's requirements.
4. Replace Cardio with weights and circuits
Cardio is not really a much followed practice as it doesn't make muscles stronger. Cardio burns calories but there is no muscle growth for that matter.
Instead of relying on cardio for getting lean, do a circuit of various exercises at the gym once per week. As for cardio, you may try that out for no more than 30 minutes once a week.
5. No Alcohol!
If you are planning to lose some weights, you better let go of the alcohol. Alcohol causes fats to be store inside the body instead of being used for energy.
Alcohol reduces energy levels and can also decrease testosterones in our body which is critical for muscle growth. So make sure you stay away from alcohol.
